I'm a former student of George Mason University who has finished a Bachelors in Information Technology with a concentration in Web Development and Multimedia and a minor in Computer Science.
I'm interested is contributing to a company by creating and designing web pages. I aim to bring together design principles and programming skills in my line of work.
During my educational career, I have obtained many new skills and learned new programming languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, and more.
Through my experience in the professional environment, I have gained hands-on experience with a high in demand frontend framework like ReactJs as well as design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I utilize Adobe Xd to create my wireframes for high level layouts of webpages before developing them. I follow TDD practices by testing my ReactJs applications with Jest and Enzyme.
Being in the field of technology and design, I like to keep myself keep abreast of the newest trends in web development outside of the workplace by continuously putting my skills to practice.
I assist in developing dynamic single page applications with ReactJS, JavaScript and NPM.
I created monthly web page newsletters and blogs for science and technology fellows on Drupal and constructed monthly newsletter emails on Marketo.
I rapidly created and maintained digital content in various forms including webpages, graphic design, and newsletter templates.
I assisted students with understanding concepts on their Python and HTML programming assignments.
I diagnosed the problems of customers' devices and then checked them in for repairs and provided customer service and basic troubleshooting help over the phone.
I practiced the various concepts in both Java and Python, created technical writing documents including development guides, translated code specifications into Python and Java programming languages, designed Excel spreadsheets to demonstrate Java and Python similarities, and troubleshooted IDEs and did configurations when necessary.
I designed fliers advertising campus events and activities and composed PowerPoint slideshow presentations to showcase campus events.
